For the last three boating seasons, marina management has been able
to avoid increasing slip fees. Unfortunately, for the 2008 boating season,
we are unable to hold rates at the 2005 level. We know you are facing
increased costs in fuel, here and at home. Utility costs are also on
the rise. North Point is experiencing increases in utilities and fuel
also. In addition, cost of operations and labor have risen the past
three years.
As a result, slip fees for 2008 are increasing from $60 to a high of
$250, depending on the slip size. Please reference the "Rates"
page for a schedule of slip fees. The increase in slip fees is based
on demand for slips, demand for particular slip sizes, utility demands
and other factors including cost of operations and labor. We have not
increased slip rates for the last three years! Our goal every year is
to be a positive contributor to your boating experience through the
services we provide. Increasing slip fees provides us the means necessary
to continue providing the level of service you are accustomed to. Our
fees remain competitive with the neighboring marinas. In all instances,
we are below the average rate and significantly lower if we include
the Chicago marinas.
Please take advantage of one of our discounts. All discount rates remain
unchanged. Even if you do not qualify for the Longevity Discount, you
can still take advantage of our Early Payment Discount. Remember, the
Second Slip and Old Salt discounts are based on slip availability.
We look forward to offering a slip contract to all interested boaters.
Our office staff is available to answer any questions you might have
and our maintenance and security crews are working to keep our facilitiy

the level of service that you expect and deserve at this unique, beautiful
marina.
